About the Track
“How Do I Say Goodbye” has a very personal meaning to me. During the COVID period, I lost my mother and never really had the chance to say goodbye.
When I first heard the song, I immediately connected with it. I wanted to keep that emotion in the remix and not turn it into just another Hardstyle version.
The idea was to let the track start very emotional and vulnerable, then slowly build into something powerful, melodic and euphoric.
For me, it is a song about loss, memories and all the things that were left unsaid.
For everyone we had to say goodbye to before we were ready.
